While we’re happy to help parents raise their children and help strengthen marriages, we’re honoured to speak into children’s lives directly, encouraging them in their faith and helping them stand strong as they face increasing pressure in today’s culture.

That’s why we’re honoured to share Emma’s* story with you:

 Dear Focus on the Family Canada,

Today I heard the broadcast about the importance of keeping my heart and mind pure. I want to make a commitment to be disciplined in what I watch and listen to. I just graduated from elementary school so I haven’t been tempted very much yet. However, next year in high school, there will be many such temptations.

I don’t want to fall for Satan’s deceit, yet I’m afraid I will cave. I want to shine with God’s light so that, through me, people can see what it means to be in a relationship with Jesus Christ. I am looking for words of wisdom or passages from Scripture that will help encourage me to stay strong and disciplined. Thank you so much for sharing God’s message with me in a very real and close-to-my-heart kind of way.
