With our hearts already heavy with sorrow for the loss of life in our country and around the world due to the current pandemic, it’s with mounting sadness that we extend our love and prayers to the families of the victims of the mass killing in Nova Scotia – now the deadliest mass shooting in Canadian history. 

We are in a moment of great heartache in our nation and this tragic event strikes a chord of compassion in all our hearts for each person and family mourning the loss of a loved one, and in a special way for Portapique and the surrounding communities that have been so traumatized by this violent and deadly act.

We mourn together at times like this and are reminded of how much we need the strength and comfort of our Heavenly Father. Please pray with us for God’s comfort, strength and peace for these families, the communities of Nova Scotia and each family across Canada that is suffering during this tragic period in our nation’s history.
