It can be a great encouragement for young people of faith to be able to look at their spiritual ancestors and learn from the lives they’ve lived. We all know the great biblical heroes such as Abraham and David all the way up to Paul in the New Testament. Similarly when you think about heroes of the faith in church history – and even in our contemporary culture – the first names that come to mind are usually men. Sadly, women of faith – in biblical history, church history and in our modern age – are often overlooked.
